Heard the parties
2. The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Pandwa P.S. Case No. 35 of 2025, for the offences registered under Sections 103(1). 238, 61(2), 3(5) of the B.N.S., 2023, pending in the Court of Sri Sambhu Mahto, learned J.M.F.C., Palamau.
3. On 17.05.2025, at about 03:00 P.M., husband of the informant namely Ranjit Kumar Mehta has left his house and thereafter, he went missing. On 18.05.2025, the informant came to know that the dead body of her husband was lying near Bastara Maidan. Suspicion has been raised against the petitioner and co- accused persons that due to land dispute, they might have committed his murder.
4. Mr. Rakesh Kumar Sinha, learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail and after going through the case diary, has submitted that the name of the petitioner has come in confession of co-accused. It was also submitted that from the CDR, it appears that the petitioner was in touch with the co-accused against whom there is allegation that he had committed murder of the deceased.
5. Considering the fact that apart from confession, there is no other material against the petitioner on the record, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of Sri Sambhu Mahto, learned J.M.F.C., Palamau in connection with Pandwa P.S. Case No. 35 of 2025.
