By way of this application under Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), the applicant has prayed to quash and set aside the judgment and order dated 08.01.2024 passed in Criminal Revision Application No.33 of 2023 by the learned Sessions Judge, Banaskantha, Planpur. 2. When the matter is called out, none appears for the applicant. With the assistance of the learned APP, the matter is taken for hearing. 3. Upon perusal of the papers, it appears that 37 bullocks were found in the alleged vehicle while being transported for the purpose of illegal slaughter. 4. Considering the provisions of Sections 5 and 6 of the R/SCR.A/6407/2024 ORDER DATED: 17/06/2025 Gujarat Animal Preservation Act and Rules 4 and 5 framed thereunder, any vehicle transporting animals in violation of the said provisions is required to be seized, and upon confiscation of such vehicle, the cost of maintenance of the animals is required to be recovered. 5. In view of the bar under Section 6A and the Rules, it appears that no irregularity has been committed by the learned Sessions Judge. Hence, no case is made out to pass any order.
