Pursuant to last order dated 17.02.2025, Ms. Manjeet Arya, learned APP has handed-up a copy of Status Report dated 24.02.2025. The same is taken on record. 2. Appended to the status report is the response of the attending doctor at Cribs Hospital, Sangam Vihar, New Delhi by way of Case Summary dated 19.02.2025, wherein responding to the queries put by the investigating officer, the doctor says that the petitioner’s son is still having persisting fever and had 02 episodes of vomiting on
18.02.2025. The doctor further records that they are treating a case of Complicated Enteric Fever with sepsis with hyponatremia and hypokalemia; and that the patient needs injectable antibiotic for at least 14 days. It is further narrated that after the completion of injectable antibiotic coverage, the patient would need 01 week of oral medication and bed-rest. This is a digitally signed order. In the circumstances, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits, that the petitioner’s interim bail be appropriately extended since he needs to help his wife to cope with their son’s hospitalisation. 4. In view of the circumstances obtaining in the matter, on humanitarian considerations and keeping in view the response of the attending doctor as referred to above, the interim bail granted to the petitioner vide order dated 15.01.2025 is further extended for 10 days from today, i.e. 25.02.2025, subject to the same conditions as imposed earlier. 5. The application is disposed-of in the above terms. 6. Let a copy of this order be sent to the concerned Jail Superintendent forthwith, for information. BAIL APPLN. 3728/2024
