The present application has been filed to quash the entire proceeding of criminal case as well as charge sheet dated 28.03.2021 and summoning order dated 22.06.2022 in Criminal Case No. 12285 of 2022 (State Vs. Prabodh Kakkar and other) arising out of Case Crime No. 646 of 2020, u/s 498-A, 323, 504, 506, 354 I.P.C. and Section 3/4 of Dowry Prohibition Act, Police Station- Sipari Bazar, District- Jhansi, pending in the court of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Jhansi. 3. Facts giving rise to the present controversy are that applicant no.1 is husband of opposite party no. 2 and matrimonial discord between them has culminated into present proceedings which is under challenge. 4. As the proceedings against applicant no.1, who is husband of opposite party no. 2, has already been quashed on the basis of verified compromise in the connected case being Application U/S 482 No. 30092 of 2024 and the present applicants being family members of applicant no. 1, therefore, in view of the reasons given in the order passed in the connected case, the aforesaid proceedings against the present applicants is also quashed. 5. With the aforesaid observation, the application is allowed.
