The present application has been filed on behalf of the applicant-appellant to refund a sum of Rs.25,000/-, lying deposited in the Registry of this Court.
2. It has been averred in the application that at the time of filing of the appeal, the applicant-appellant had deposited a sum of Rs.25,000/- in the Registry of this Court. Since the appeal stands disposed of without admitting the same, therefore, the aforesaid amount, lying deposited in the Registry of this Court, may be ordered to be refunded in favour of the applicant-appellant.
3. Learned counsel for the non-applicants have submitted that they have no objection in case the amount lying deposited in the Registry of this Court is refunded to the applicant-appellant.
4. Heard. Having perused the averments made in the application, which is duly supported with affidavit of Ms.Pooja Tapwal, Manager (Legal) of the Insurance Company, this
Court finds it in the interest of justice to refund Rs.25,000/-, lying deposited in the Registry of this Court, in favour of the applicant-appellant after proper verification and identification by remitting the same to its bank account, details whereof have been given in para-3 of the application.
