ORDER:
This Contempt Case is filed for willful violation of the orders passed by this Court in W.P.No.22241 of 2023 on 05.09.2023, wherein this Court passed the following order:
“….In view of the aforesaid directions of this Court in various cases and after hearing both sides, this Court is inclined to dispose of the writ petition with a direction to the respondents to complete the verification process within a period of six (06) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and thereafter to pay the amounts due to the petitioner depending upon the outcome of the verification within a period of eight (08) weeks. It would also be open to the petitioner to agitate their claim for interest, if any, payable by the respondents in an appropriate forum.”

Today, when the matter came up for hearing, learned counsel representing the respondents has furnished a letter dated 17.07.2025, addressed by the Director of Agriculture, Andhra Pradesh, Guntur, to the Government Pleader for Agriculture, wherein it is mentioned that the amount of Rs.1,06,03,426/- payable to the petitioner has been credited to the petitioner’s Account No.10122560000258 on 17.07.2025. 3. Recording the same, as the amount has already been credited to the petitioner’s account, the Contempt Case is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
