By way of the instant petition, the petitioner is seeking direction towards the respondent authorities to consider and decide the pending representation for granting compensation on account of death of deceased Prem Dan Kujur, who died in a road accident and was insured for a period of three years. 2. The brief facts of the case are that the petitioner’s father Premdan Kujur was working and performing his duties under the Respondent department for contribution of Tendu leaf at forest area. The deceased was insured with the insurance company and the petitioner has executed an affidavit for entitlement of compensation, however, despite that the respondent authorities have not taken any action on the claim of the petitioner for grant of compensation. Hence this petition. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that the respondent authorities may be directed to decide the representation of the petitioner and may also be directed to make payment of the compensation amount. 4. Per contra, learned State counsel submits that she has no objection in deciding the representation of the petitioner. 5. Considering the entire facts and circumstances of the case, the 3 / 3 petitioner is directed to file afresh representation before Respondent No.5 within a period of 15 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order and on such representation being filed, the same shall be decided by the Respondent No.5 expeditiously as soon as possible in accordance with law. 6.
