Present criminal writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of direction to respondent No.2 to protect the life and liberty of the petitioner and further to look into the representation dated 01.02.2025 (Annexure P-6) submitted by her. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner, inter alia, contends that the petitioner was having a land dispute with one Prakash Kaur and she made a complaint against her on 09.06.2024 before the police and while she along with her husband and children were going to the police station in order to effect a compromise, en route, Ajeet Jakhad, Prince, Amit and Prakash Kaur came in a Fortuner car bearing registration No.HR-29-AP-1008, one Scorpio car and four VISHNU 2025.03.25 18:02 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document Punjab and Haryana High Court, Chandigarh CRWP-2922-2025 -2- motorcycles and hit their cars multiple times, due to which Wagon-R car bearing registration No.HR-51-CC-0934, in which the petitioner along with her children were sitting and another car i.e. Creta bearing registration No.HR-87L-4958, in which husband of the petitioner and nephew Suraj and Kapil were sitting, got damaged badly. Somehow they reached the police station, however, there also, the accused persons hit their cars and after firing in the air, they fled away from the spot. In the CCTV footage taken from the police station, the vehicles of accused persons were visible. With these allegations, an FIR No.375 dated 12.06.2024 under Sections 148, 149, 323, 341, 307, 427, 506 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860 was registered at Police Station Mujesar, District Faridabad (Annexure P-1) against aforesaid accused persons. Further, on 30.01.2025 at around 05.44 p.m., accused Prince Jakhad made a whatsapp call to husband of the petitioner and he pressurized him to compromise the matter and on being refused to do so, said accused threatened him not to give evidence in the Court on the date fixed i.e. 28.02.2025. Immediately thereafter, husband of the petitioner submitted a representation on 30.01.2025 to respondent No.3 (Annexure P-4) and with regard to same incident, the petitioner also submitted the representation dated 01.02.2025 (Annexure P-6) to respondent No.3, however, till date, no action has been taken on the said representations. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner further submits that the petitioner would be satisfied, in case a direction is issued to respondent No.2 to consider and decide the representations dated 30.01.2025 (Annexure P-4) and 01.02.2025 VISHNU 2025.03.25 18:02 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document Punjab and Haryana High Court, Chandigarh CRWP-2922-2025 -3- (Annexure P-6) submitted by husband of the petitioner and the petitioner herself, respectively, in a time bound manner. 4. Notice of motion. 5. On asking of the Court, Mr. Subhash Godara, Addl. A.G., Punjab, accepts notice on behalf of the respondents-State. Learned counsel for the petitioner is directed to supply copy of complete paperbook to learned State counsel during course of the day. 6. Learned State counsel submits that to dispassionately assess the threat perception of the petitioner at the hands of accused persons, the mobile number, on which threat calls are being received, would be required. 7. Learned counsel for the petitioner undertakes to supply the complete information to the jurisdictional police authorities in this regard. 8. Keeping in view the prayer made by the petitioner and without commenting anything on the merits of the case, present petition is disposed of with a direction to respondent No.2 to consider and decide the representations dated 30.01.2025 (Annexure P-4) and 01.02.2025 (Annexure P-6) within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of certified copy of this order, in accordance with law.
