The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Garhwa P.S. Case No. 284/2022 registered U/s- 379,414 of IPC, U/s- 11 Prevention of Cruelty to Animal Act and U/s-12 of Jharkhand Bovine Animal prohibition of Slaughter Act-2005, pending before the learned court of Chief Judicial Magistrate, Garhwa. 3. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that twice application has been filed before the learned Sessions Judge, however the petitioner has not moved before the High Court. She submits that the petitioner happened to be the owner of the vehicle in question and the allegations are made that bovine animals were being carried in the said vehicle. She also submits that the bovine animals were booked by some another person. She next submits that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent. 4. Learned counsel appearing for the State opposed the prayer and submits that illegally bovine animals were being carried. 5. Considering that the petitioner happened to be the owner of the 2025:JHHC:36046 2 vehicle and the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent and it has been pointed out that the bovine animals were booked by another person, I am inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 6. Accordingly, the petitioner above named is directed to surrender before the learned Court within three weeks from the date of receipt of the order and on the event of his surrender / arrest, he shall be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Twenty-Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount of each to the satisfaction of learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Garhwa , in connection with Garhwa P.S. Case No. 284/2022, subject to the condition as laid down under Section 482(2) of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023. 7.
