Order on Board 04/08/2025
1. By way of the instant petition, the petitioner is praying for the following reliefs:- 10.1 That, the Hon’ble Court be pleased to direct the Respondents to restore the Petitioner’s ID No.64127 and allow him to continue operation of Aadhar Choice Centre. 10.2 That, the Hon’ble Court be pleased to issue appropriate direction restraining the Respondents from taking coercive action, including eviction from the Government premises allotted for Aadhar Operations and the Petitioner be allowed to run the choice centre in the same place allotted by the Respondent with the existing ID. 10.3 That, this Hon’ble Court may kindly be pleased to grant any other relief, as it may deems fit and appropriate.
2. In the instant petition, the petitioner is challenging the action of de- registering the ID of the Petitioner for operating the AADHAR Service Centre commonly known as Choice Centre, which was duly permitted to the petitioner long back by Respondent No.2 & 3.
3.
Learned counsel for the petitioner would contend that the petitioner was never given any opportunity to be heard before de-registering one of his ID which is contrary to the UIDAI guidelines and Rule of Law but still one ID is being operated and for that the petitioner is sitting in the place legally allotted to him by Respondent No.5, therefore, he should not be disturbed to do the business to earn livelihood.
