This writ petition was filed in 2015 seeking the following reliefs:- (i) Issue a writ, order or direction, in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondents to include the name of the petitioner in the list of selected candidates of preliminary examination of Combined Civil Subordinate Service Examination, 2012 in the result as declared on 3.2.2015. (ii) Issue a writ, order or direction, in the nature of mandamus commanding the respondents to permit the petitioner to take his main examination scheduled to be held in the month of Nov, or Dec, 2015 and to declare the result of the same. 5. The process of selection for Combined Civil Subordinate Service Examination, 2012 must have been completed long back and the selected persons would have been serving for last several years, therefore, after conclusion of the selection process, the relief as claimed in the writ petition, cannot be granted at this belated stage. Thus, this Court is of the considered opinion that the relief sought by the petitioner does 2025:UHC:2861-DB not survive any longer. 6. Accordingly, the writ petition is dismissed, as infructuous.
