The petitioner is challenging the recruitment process to the post of Assistant Director (Chemistry) Class-I, General State Service under the Directorate of Forensic Science. 2. It is not in dispute that the petitioner did apply for being considered for the post of Assistant Director (Chemistry). He, would, therefore, be dis-entitled to question the notification on the ground that the same is illegal. 3. Admittedly, pursuant to the recruitment process, selections have been made to the post of Assistant Director (Chemistry) Class-I. The petitioner has. however, chosen not to implead the selected candidates as respondents. 4. In light of these facts, in my view, the prayers of the petitioner cannot be considered.
