Case No. 127 of 2024 for the offences registered under sections 8(C) read with section 15(c), 25 and 29 of the N.D.P.S. Act, pending in the court of learned Judicial Commissioner-cum-Special Judge, NDPS, Ranchi. 3. On 23.11.2024, NCB, Ranchi intercepted a truck bearing registration no. JH 05BW 8778 near Sharma Jee Line Hotel, Rampur on National Highway-33 Tata- Ranchi Road. On search, 4348.8 kg. of poppy husk was recovered from the said vehicle. 4. It was submitted that the petitioner is not named in the FIR. It was further submitted that nothing incriminating was recovered from the possession of the petitioner. 5. Mr. Prashant Pallav, learned Additional Solicitor General of India has opposed the prayer for bail and submitted that the name of the petitioner has transpired during the course of investigation that he was facilitating the transportation of the seized articles. It was further submitted that the petitioner has also confessed his guilt. 6. It appears that similarly situated co-accused persons have been granted bail by this court as well by the Coordinate Bench of this Court earlier. 7. In view of the submission made above, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Judicial Commissioner-cum-Special Judge, NDPS, Ranchi in connection with N.D.P.S.
