Neutral Citation No. - 2025:AHC:49489 Court No. - 5 Case :- WRIT - A No. - 4158 of 2025 Petitioner :- Omveer Singh Respondent :- State Of U.P. And 5 Others Counsel for Petitioner :- Dinesh Kumar Misra Counsel for Respondent :- C.S.C.,Ved Byas Mishra Hon'ble Ajay Bhanot,J. Heard Shri Dinesh Kumar Misra, learned counsel for the petitioner, Shri Ved Byas Mishra, learned counsel for the respondent and learned Standing Counsel for the State. The petitioner claims that some arrears of salary have not been paid till date. A representation in this regard has been made but to no avail. Shri Ved Byas Mishra, learned counsel for the respondents submit that the matter requires factual determination as per applicable law by the competent authority in the first instance. However, learned counsels for the respondents fairly contend that the claim for arrears of salary is liable to be decided by the competent authority within a reasonable time frame. In wake of the preceding discussion and without going into the merits of the case, the respondent no. 4 is directed to decide the representation of the petitioner regarding his claim for arrears of salary within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order along with a fresh copy of the representation. With the aforesaid direction, the writ petition is finally disposed of. Order Date :- 7.4.2025 Vandit Digitally signed by :- VANDIT AGRAWAL High Court of Judicature at Allahabad
