The petitioner is the holder of the above bank account with the 1st respondent bank. The petitioner contends that the 1st respondent has frozen the petitioner’s bank account pursuant to a requisition from the 2nd respondent. The action of the 1st respondent is illegal and arbitrary. Hence, this writ petition. 3. Heard; the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, the learned counsel for the 1st respondent and the learned Government Pleader. 4. The learned counsel for the 1st respondent submitted that, the petitioner’s bank account has been debit freezed on the requisition from the 2nd respondent. WP(C) NO. 6944 OF 2025 3 2025:KER:28403 5. The learned Government Pleader submitted that, the 2nd respondent has already registered Crime No.41/2024 and the matter has been reported to the jurisdictional Magistrate. In the light of the above submission, the writ petition is disposed of, by permitting the petitioner to approach the jurisdictional Magistrate and work out his remedies, in accordance with law.
