This Court, vide order dated 23.07.2024, passed in MCRC No. 4083/2024, while allowing the bail to the petitioners, namely, Naveen Tandi, Manju Chouhan and Akash Sinde, had expressed its trust that the trial Court should make an earnest endeavor to conclude the trial expeditiously in accordance with law, preferably within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of this order, if there was no legal impediment. Earlier on occasion also, this Court had granted extension of time for conclusion of the trial vide order dated 21.02.2025 in CRMP No.658/2025. 4. The learned Special Judge (NDPS Act) Saraipali, District – Mahasamund (C.G.), through the Principal District and Sessions Judge, District – Mahasamund (C.G.) vide his request letter dated 04.07.2025 has requested for grant of some more time for concluding the trial. 5. It transpires from perusal of the PUD, that in this case, the trial is fixed for prosecution evidence, and the statements of 12 prosecution witnesses are yet to be examined before the trial Court. Due to which, it is likely to take some time for concluding the trial. Therefore, he prays for grant of some more time for concluding the trial. 6. The request appears to be reasonable. The concerned trial Court is directed to conclude the trial as early as possible, preferably within a further period of three months from today. 7. Accordingly, this CRMP stands disposed of with the aforesaid direction. 8.
