This application has been preferred by the appellant for condoning a delay of 7 days in filing the appeal. Having been satisfied with the reasons assigned in the instant application, the same is allowed and the delay of 7 days in filing the appeal is hereby condoned. I.A. No.13135 of 2025 stands disposed of. Cr. Appeal (DB) No. 1166 of 2025
This appeal is directed against the order dated 08.08.2025 passed by the learned Additional Sessions Judge-I, Seraikella in M.C.R.A. No. 902 of 2025 arising out of Kharsawan P.S. Case No. 24 of 2019, whereby and whereunder the prayer for bail of the appellant has been rejected. It has been alleged that extremists had blasted landmines and there was an exchange of firing between the police personnel and extremists and ultimately the extremist had fled away. Several police personnel had suffered injuries. Submission has been advanced by the learned counsel for the appellant that the appellant is not named in the F.I.R. and seems to have been implicated on the confession of other co-accused persons. It has been

submitted that several co-accused persons similarly situated have been granted bail in B.A. No.4109 of 2020, B.A. No. 2733 of 2020 and B.A. No. 2780 of 2020. Learned counsel adds that the appellant is in custody since
26.09.2024. Learned A.P.P has opposed the prayer for bail of the appellant.
Regard being had to the manner of implication of the appellant and the fact that several co-accused persons have been granted bail, as noted above, we while setting aside the order dated 08.08.2025 passed by the learned Additional Sessions Judge-I, Seraikella in M.C.R.A. No. 902 of 2025 arising out of Kharsawan P.S. Case No. 24 of 2019, direct the appellant to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/- (Ten thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge-I, Seraikella in connection with M.C.R.A. No. 902 of 2025. This appeal stands allowed and disposed of. (Rongon Mukhopadhyay, J.)
