At this stage, learned counsel for the respondents has placed on record copies of office letters dated 25.11.2025 alongwith certain documents and on that basis submits that all retiral benefits due and admissible to the petitioners now stand released in their favour, save & except interest on account of delayed payment of retiral benefits. Learned counsel submits that interest due and admissible to the petitioners shall also be released in their favour within six weeks, i.e. by or before 09.01.2026. 1 Whether reporters of print and electronic media may be allowed to see the order? Yes 2 CWP No.6756 of 2025, decided alongwith connected matters on 25.04.2025 2 In view of above, the present contempt proceedings are closed with hope and trust that the respondents shall abide by their assurance and will release the interest component to the petitioners by or before 09.01.2026. Liberty is, however, reserved to the petitioners to seek appropriate remedy for the redressal of their surviving grievances, if any, in accordance with law.
