GP FOR WOMEN DEV, CHILD WELFARE The Court made the following ORDER:- This petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for the following relief:- “… to issue a writ or order or direction, more particularly one in the nature of writ of mandamus declaring the action of the Respondents 1 & 2 in selecting the 3rd Respondent to the post of Anaganwadi Worker at Bhyravanithippa Village of Brahmasamudram Mandal, Anantapur District vide Proceedings of the 1st Respondent No.638/A/2008, dated 29.09 .2012 is arbitrary, bad and illegal and violation of Article14 of the Constitution of India and also contrary to the G.O.Ms.No.21, Women Development, Child Welfare & Disabled Welfare (ICDS) Department dated 24.08.2007 and the same is liable to be set aside by directing the Respondents 1 & 2 to appoint the petitioner to the post of Anganwadi Worker at Bhyravanithippa Village of 2 Brahmasamudram Mandal, Anantapur District, in the interest of justice and pass ….”. 2. Heard Ms. Prameela, learned counsel representing on behalf of Mr. Kuriti Bhaskara Rao, learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Government Pleader appearing for the respondents. 3. Learned Government Pleader furnished a copy of proceedings of District Women and Child Welfare and Empowerment Officer, DW & CDA, Anantapuramu vide RC.No.09/2024/COURT SECTION, dated 06.03.2025, wherein it is stated that the present petition is the second writ petition filed by the petitioner and there is already one writ petition filed by the petitioner i.e. W.P.No.33327 of 2012 with similar grounds and similar prayer for setting aside orders in Progs.RC.No.638/A/2008, dated 29.09.2012. It is further stated that as per the Progs.No.25/A/2014, dated 06.02.2014, petitioner joined the service and at present she is working as Anganwadi Worker at Bhyravanithippa Village, Bramhasamudram Mandal, ICDS Project, Kalyandurg. 4. In view of the above, the Writ Petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs. As a sequel, miscellaneous applications pending, if any, shall also stand closed. ________________________ DR.
