K BHEEMA RAO The Court made the following: 2 ORDER: This Contempt Case is filed for willful violation of the order passed by this Court in W.P.No.8638 of 2023 on 13.10.2023, wherein this Court passed the following order: “….Accordingly, the Writ Petition is allowed directing the respondents to pay salary/remuneration to the petitioners in pursuance of G.O.Ms.No.7 Finance (HR.I-Plg. & Policy) Department dated 17.01.2022 from the date of this order.” 2. Today, when the matter came up for hearing, learned counsel appearing for all the respondents/contemnors stated that they have preferred Writ Appeal No.184 of 2024 against the orders passed by this Court on 13.10.2023, wherein the Division Bench of this Court vide orders dated 08.08.2024 has granted an interim order staying the impugned orders, subject to the appellants paying minimum wage at the rate of Rs.18,500/- per month. In pursuance of which, the respondents have been paying an amount of Rs.18,500/- per month to all the employees, except the 9th petitioner herein as he remained absent from his duties since January, 2023 and as such the orders passed by this Court on 13.10.2023 cannot be implemented in his favour. 3. Recording the same, the Contempt Case is closed. However, the petitioners are at liberty to contest the Writ Appeal pending adjudication.
