2 / 2 Nawagarh, District -Janjgir-Champa died in harness on 03.07.2022. Immediately thereafter, application for grant of compassionate appointment was filed by the petitioner before the Block Education Officer on 19.07.2022 itself and since then it is pending
consideration. After death of husband of petitioner, she is facing financial crunch. Petitioner is having two minor children, one daughter and one son aged about 4 and 5 years respectively. She is in dire need of financial assistance after demise of her husband. He prays for issuance of a direction to respondent authority to decide her pending application for grant of compassionate appointment within stipulated time.
2. Learned counsel for the State submits that as the petitioner is only seeking a direction to respondent authority to decide her application for grant of compassionate appointment within stipulated time, she is not having any objection.
3. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, respondents No. 3 & 4 are directed to decide the application submitted by the petitioner for grant of compassionate appointment and pass appropriate order within a period of 4 weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order, in accordance with law.
4. With the aforesaid direction, this writ petition stands disposed off.
