Petitioners apprehend his arrest in a case registered for the offence punishable under sections 137 ( 2 ) and 96 of BNS. 3 . The prosecution case in brief, is that informant Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.28411 of 2025(3) dt.24-07-2025 2/3 namely , Umashankar Poddar alleged that on 23.09.2024 all the F.I.R. named accused persons including these petitioners kidnapped daughter of informant for the purpose of marriage . 4. It is submitted on behalf of the petitioners that these petitioners are family members of co-accused Amarjeet Kumar who is said to have kidnapped the daughter of informant. It is further submitted that the victim was recovered and she in her statement recorded under section 183 BNSS denied the factum of kidnapping and stated that no one kidnapped her rather she on her own will went with co-accused Amarjeet Kumar and had solemnized marriage with him . Petitioners claim clean antecedent. 5 . Learned counsel for the State opposed the bail petition . 6 Considering the statement of victim under section 183 BNSS, clean antecedent of these petitioners and other circumstances of the case , in the event of arrest or surrender within eight weeks from today, let these petitioners, as named above, be enlarged on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.10,000/-(ten thousand) each with two sureties of the like amount each to the satisfaction of the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate Purnea in connection with Dhamdaha P.S. Case No. Patna High Court CR. MISC. No.28411 of 2025(3) dt.24-07-2025 3/3 250 of 2024 , subject to the conditions laid down under section 482(2) of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita , 2023 .
