Taking into consideration the grievance raised by the petitioner and in view of nature of the order being passed hereinafter, notice of this petition is not required to be issued to respondents No.6 to 11. 1Whether reporters of the local papers may be allowed to see the judgment? 2 2025:HHC:38495 2. With the consent of learned counsel for the parties, the matter is heard at this stage. 3. This writ petition has been filed for the grant of following substantive prayer:- “a) That Writ in the nature of Mandamus or any other appropriate writ/order/direction may kindly be issued to the respondents No.4 directing the respondents to forthwith initiate and conclude partition proceedings of the joint property situated at Mauza Bhaled, Patwar Circle Saryaz, Tehsil Arki, District Solan, HP under the H.P. Land Revenue Act, 1954 within a fixed time period in the case No. 12/09/2020 in case of Anant Ram and Ors. Vs Amar Chand & Ors.” 4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that partition proceedings are pending since the year 2017 without any finalization. The petitioner in the aforesaid circumstances will be satisfied, in case, some time bound directions are issued to the competent Authority i.e. Assistant Collector 2nd Grade- cum-Naib Tehsildar, Darlaghat, District Solan, H.P, to complete the same. 5. In view of above submissions and taking the pleadings into consideration, this petition is disposed of with 3 2025:HHC:38495 direction to respondent No.4/competent Authority to decide and conclude partition proceedings in question within six months, in accordance with law. Copy of this order be communicated to the concerned quarter by the Office of learned Advocate General as well. Pending miscellaneous applications, if any, shall also stand disposed of.
