The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Lawalong P.S. Case No. 31 of 2025, S.T. Case No.268 of 2025, for the offence under Sections 103(1)/3(5) of B.N.S., 2023, pending in the court of Sri Purnendu Kumar Sharma, learned Additional Sessions Judge-V, Chatra. On 31.03.2025, the petitioner along-with co-accused persons are alleged to have assaulted the brother of the informant, namely, Raju Ganjhu, due to which, he succumbed to his injuries. It was submitted that there is general and omnibus allegation against the petitioner. It was further submitted that two co-accused persons namely Lambu Kumar and Rinku Kumar have been granted bail by this Court earlier and the case of the petitioner stands on similar footing. In view of the submission made above, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of Sri Purnendu Kumar Sharma, learned Additional Sessions Judge-V, Chatra, in connection with Lawalong P.S.
