The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Godda (T) P.S. Case No. 78 of 2024, for the offences registered under Sections 272, 273, 328 & 34 of the I.P.C. and Section 47(a) of the Excise Act, 1915, pending in the Court of learned C.J.M., Godda. 3. On 21.03.2024, Godda Town Police, on the basis of confidential information intercepted a Mahindra pick-up van from a place near Tiyodih Anjana, Hotel. On search, huge quantity of foreign liquor was seized from the said vehicle. 4. It was submitted that the petitioner is the owner of the seized vehicle. It was further submitted that driver of the vehicle without the consent and knowledge of the petitioner was transporting the seized contraband. It was finally submitted that the petitioner is in custody since 10.09.2025. 5. In view of the submissions made above, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned C.J.M., Godda in connection with Godda (T) P.S.
