Jyotsna Rewal Dua, Judge The following order was passed in the matter on 07.10.2025:- “Learned counsel for the respondents informs the Court that DCRG amounting to Rs.14,22,201/- and leave encashment amounting to Rs.8,61,940/-, in all Rs.22,84,141/- has been released in favour of the petitioner, vide two cheques dated 10.09.2025 and 06.10.2025, respectively. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he may be granted some time to ascertain this fact. List on 14.11.2025, as prayed for.” 1Whether reporters of the local papers may be allowed to see the judgment? 2 2025:HHC:38499 2. Learned vice counsel for the petitioner acknowledges the factum of receiving the retiral benefits, as mentioned in the aforesaid order. The grievance, however, is that the respondents are to be released due and admissible interest to the petitioner on account of delayed payment of retiral benefits. 3. Learned vice counsel for the respondents submits that interest liability shall also be cleared by the respondents towards the petitioner within six weeks from today, i.e. by or before 29.12.2025. 4. In view of above, the present proceedings are closed, with direction to the respondents to clear their interest liability, by or before 29.12.2025. Liberty is granted to the petitioner to seek appropriate remedy for the redressal of his surviving grievances at an appropriate stage in accordance with law, in case, necessity so arises.
