2. The said order was challenged in SLP No.26383/2025 before the Hon’ble Supreme Court and the Hon’ble Supreme Court vide
order dated 17.09.2025 has passed the following order:-
“2. The impugned order passed by the Division Bench virtually directs status quo ante. In the normal course, we would have directed maintenance of the status quo pending disposal of the special leave petition or even the writ petition. However, in view of the fact that passing appropriate orders, balancing interest of both the parties would require us to take into account the facts and circumstances of the case leading to handing over the GSSs to the petitioners and this would require a detailed inquiry into facts, we deem it appropriate to direct final disposal of the writ petition.
3. In view of the fact that the interim order passed by the Division Bench will have serious consequence if continued for long, we direct that the writ petition should be heard and
disposed of in two months time. The learned Chief Justice of the High Court of Rajasthan is requested to assign the matter to an appropriate Bench for such disposal. We also make it clear that the learned Single Judge will decide the case uninfluenced by any observations made in the order impugned before us.
4. With this observation, the special leave petitions stands
disposed of”
3. In view of above order, we are of the opinion that no purpose would be served in keeping this D.B. Special Appeal Writ No. 1018/2025 pending as our order stands merged with the order passed by the Hon’ble Supreme Court as above.
4. The present Special Appeal Writ is accordingly, disposed of.
5. The interim order passed by us is made absolute, subject to final disposal of the case. It need not be reiterated that our order shall not influence in any manner, the judgment passed by the Hon’ble Supreme Court.
