ASHOK RAM V The Court made the following: ORDER: This Contempt Case is filed for willful and deliberate disobedience of the orders passed by this Court in W.P.No.9668 of 2023 on 05.05.2023, wherein this Court passed the following order: “….5. In view of the common order passed by this Court and after hearing the submissions of learned counsel on both sides, this Writ Petition is disposed of directing the respondents to release total amount of Rs.3,19,74,078/- to the petitioners within a period of three (3) months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs....” 2. Today when the matter is taken up for hearing, Sri V.Ashok Ram, learned counsel for the respondent No.2 has furnished a copy of letter vide Letter No.C.C.6566/2023, dated 06.01.2025, issued by the Principal Secretary to Government, Finance Department, wherein it is stated that the respondent- department had uploaded the bills for an amount of Rs.3,19,74,078/- and the said bill was paid to the petitioner on 04.01.2025 vide CFMS bill No.2024- 161875 and transaction No.RBI0042542567500 to a tune of Rs.3,06,52,457/-. In view of the same, this Court is of the opinion that the respondents have complied with the orders dated 05.05.2023, passed by this Court in W.P.No.9668 of 2023. 3. Accordingly, the Contempt Case is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
