The present writ petition has been filed seeking directions to the statutory authorities to take action against the illegal and unauthorised construction, being carried out by respondent nos. 3 and 4, at property November, 2025 was declared as a holiday. 2. At the outset, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that after the filing of the present writ petition, he was approached by respondent nos. 3 and 4, who have undertaken to close the opening of the windows facing towards the property of the petitioner.
3. He, thus, submits that if the aforesaid is done by respondent nos. 3 and 4, the petitioner’s grievance would be satisfied.

Learned counsel appearing for the respondent-Municipal Corporation of Delhi (“MCD”) submits that Show Cause Notice has already been issued qua the aforesaid properties.

Learned counsel appearing for respondent nos. 3 and 4 submits and undertakes before this Court that the needful shall be done within a period of ten days and the opening of the windows towards the property of the petitioner shall be closed.
6. The aforesaid statement is taken note of and the respondent nos. 3 and 4 are held bound by the same.
7. In case, the said opening of windows facing towards the property of the petitioner still continues, the MCD would be at liberty to take action in accordance with law.
8. Considering the aforesaid, no further orders are required to be passed in the present writ petition.
9. The present writ petition, along with the pending applications, is accordingly disposed of.
