The petitioner is aggrieved by the endorsement dated 31.08.2024, by which, her request for entering her name in the revenue records has been refused on the ground that the lands in question were forest lands. 2. On the last occasion, learned counsel had filed a memo and enclosed the RTCs for the years 1981-82 to 1996-97 and also the subsequent years to indicate - 3 - NC: 2025:KHC:11292 WP No. 36480 of 2024 that the land in question was granted to the husband of the petitioner, which has been reflected therein and, there is no entry in the revenue records, which even remotely indicate that the lands in question are the forest lands. 3. In the light of the above, it is clear that, the endorsement of the Tahsildar to the effect that the lands in question are forest lands cannot be accepted and, Annexure - A is accordingly quashed. 4. This writ petition is thus allowed. 5. The Tahsildar is directed to consider the request of the petitioner, keeping in mind that the revenue records were standing in the name of the petitioner's husband right from the year 1981-82 till 1996-97. 6. The said exercise shall be undertaken and completed within a period of two months from the date of receipt of the copy of this order. - 4 - NC: 2025:KHC:11292 WP No. 36480 of 2024 7.
