Case of the prosecution, in brief, is that after death of father of defacto complainant, a partition was effected between the brothers in respect of land, inherited from their ancestors. His brother has been holding a grudge and trying to occupy the share of the defacto complainant in Sy.No.197/1. While the defacto complainant was ploughing the land, the accused came with a knife, using filthy language and obstructed the tractor and attacked him with the knife on his left shoulder, on left armpit and caused bleeding injuries. The accused attempted to kill him by slashing with the knife, but the tractor driver came there and rescued him from the accused. Hence, a case has been registered, basing on the report of the defacto complainant. 4. The learned Assistant Public Prosecutor submits that investigation is not yet completed in the case and granting of anticipatory bail to the petitioner would hamper the investigation. 5. In view of the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 6.
