The petitioner seeks the grant of anticipatory bail under Section 482 of BNSS, 2023 in a case bearing FIR No.94 dated 19.05.2023 under Sections 420, 406 IPC and Section 24 of the Immigration Act and Section 13 of Travel Professionals Regulation Act registered at Police Station Sultanpur Lodhi, Kapurthala. The learned counsel for the petitioner submits that pursuant to the interim order dated 06.05.2025 passed by this Court, the petitioner has joined the investigation. The learned counsel for the State on instructions submits that the petitioner has joined the investigation in terms of the order dated 06.05.2025 and is not required for custodial interrogation.
