The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Karon P.S. Case No. 51/2024, for the offences registered under Sections 316(5), 319(2), 318(4), 338, 336(3), 340(2), 61(2) of the B.N.S., pending in the Court of learned A.C.J.M., Madhupur. 3. The petitioner happens to be a nazir of Karon Block. He alongwith the co-accused persons had misappropriated Rs.20,87,328/- from the Government fund. The embezzled amount was transferred to his account. 4. Learned counsel appearing on behalf of the petitioner has submitted that the total amount embezzled by the petitioner was to the tune of Rs. 43,00,000/- and he has returned the said amount. 5.
