Petitioner has been made an accused in connection with Chowka P.S. Case No. 60/2024, for the offence under sections 25(1-B) (a)/26 of the Arms Act, pending in the Court of learned S.D.J.M., Chandil. On 03.11.2024 at about 12:00 Noon, co-accused Mahavir Kumar Singh and Rohit Saw were apprehended by Chowka police from Chowka, Chowk and on search firearms were recovered from the possession of both the apprehended persons. It appears that the name of the petitioner has come in the confession of apprehended accused persons. Learned lawyer for the petitioner submitted that nothing incriminating was recovered from the possession of the petitioner. Learned A.P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail and submitted that the name of the petitioner has come in the confession of apprehended accused persons.
