A case has been registered against the petitioner herein and others, for the offerlces punishable under sections 20(b)(ii)(C), 25 read with 8(c) of the Narcotl-c Drugs and psychotropic substances Act,1985 (for short {the NDPS Act'). 3. Case of the prosecution, in brief, is that, on 29.08.2023, at about 16.00 hours, on recel®pt of credible information, the Assistant Sub-Inspector of police, pedabayalu police Station, along with his staff and mediators, rushed to Gadepalli village and found Al to A4 in possession of 50 Kgs of Ganja. A3 and A4 escaped from the spot. The contraband was seized under cover of a mediators report and a case has been registered against the accused. The petitl'oner herein was arrested on 18.08.2024. I 4. Heard. Perused the record. 5. A perusal of the material on record goes to show that basing on the confessional statement of co-accused, the name of the petl®tioner herein is shown as accused I'n \the Present crime. Pursuant to the confession statement of co-accused, the petitioner herein was arrested on 18.08.2024 and since then he is in judl-cia' custody. Learned Assistant Publl'c Prosecutor of -5 __------_- 3 submitted that major portion of investigation has been completed and formal charge stheet has to be filed. 6. ln view of the aforesaid facts and Circumstances Of the case, this court is -Inclined to grant bail to the petitioner/A4 on the following conditions. i) The petitioner/A4 shall be released On bail on his executing a personal bond for Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) with two Sureties Of the like Sum each tO the satisfaction of the fe`arned I AdLditional District and Sessions Judge-Gum-Special Judge for trial of offenCeS under the NDPS Act, Visakhapatnam.
