The challenge in the writ petition is to a notice dated 15.01.2025 which calls upon the petitioner to remove his encroachment over a plot and a road adjoining his land which has been encroached by him within a period of seven days from the date of receipt of the notice and to file his explanation within the same period. Counsel appearing for the respondents states that the petitioner has already replied to the notice. However, a copy of the reply has not been annexed to the writ petition. Under the circumstances, the petition is disposed of leaving it open for the respondent to consider the reply of the petitioner and thereafter to proceed in accordance with law.
