PUBLIC PROSECUTOR The Court made the following ORDER: This Criminal Petition, under Sections 480 and 483 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, has been filed by the petitioner/A4, seeking regular bail, in Crime No.137 of 2024 of Yerapaka Police Station, Alluri Sitharama Raju district. 2 2. A case has been registered against the petitioner herein and others for the offences punishable under Sections 111(2)(b), 111(4) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, 2023 and Section 8(c) read with 20(b)(ii)(C) of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 (for short ‘the NDPS Act’). 3. Case of the prosecution, in brief, is that, on 12.11.2024, at about 03.00 pm, the Sub-Inspector of Police, Yetapaka Police Station, along with his staff and mediators, while conducting raid at Bojjaguppa Centre, Yetapaka, found A1 and A3 to A6 in possession and illegal transportation of 100 Kgs of Ganja in two Cars. The Ganja was supplied by A1 and A2. The contraband along with vehicles and other material was seized under cover of a mediators report and a case has been registered against the accused. 4. Heard. Perused the record. 5. A perusal of the material on record goes to show that 100 Kgs of ganja was seized from the possession of the accused, which is a huge commercial quantity. It is submitted by the learned Assistant Public Prosecutor that in the present case the 3 investigation is not yet completed and A2 has to be apprehended. He further submits that, apart from the present case, one more similar case was registered against the petitioner herein. 6. In view of the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case, this Court is not inclined to grant bail to the petitioner/A4. 7.
