The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Giddi P.S. Case No. 56 of 2024, for the offences registered under Sections 308(5) & 61(2) of the B.N.S., 2023, pending in the Court of Mrs. Priyanka Chopra, learned J.M.F.C., Hazaribagh. 3. On 05.07.2024, Rangdari was demanded from the informant who is a contractor carrying out the work of upgradation of Middle School, Giddi. 4. It was submitted that the mobile phone, which was used in demanding Rangdari does not belong to the petitioner. It was further submitted that several similarly situated co-accused persons have been granted bail by this Court earlier. 5. Learned Special P.P. has opposed the prayer for bail and has submitted that the petitioner is the kingpin of the gang and rangdari was demanded at his behest. It was further submitted that petitioner is accused in as many as 26 cases of similar nature. 6. Considering the criminal antecedents of the petitioner, I am not inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, his prayer for bail stands rejected. 31 October 2025 (Ambuj Nath, J.) Rahul/-
