The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Godda (Town) P.S. Case No. 164 of 2025, N.D.P.S. Case No.10 of 2025, for the offence under Sections 22, 25, 27(a) & 29 of N.D.P.S. Act, pending in the court of learned Principal District & Sessions Judge, Godda. On 17.08.2025 at about 12:30 noon, Godda Town Police apprehended the petitioner and on search, 69 grams of brown sugar were recovered from his possession. It was submitted that the quantum of seized brown sugar comes within the purview of intermediary quantity. It was further submitted that petitioner has got no criminal antecedent. In view of the submission made above, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Principal District & Sessions Judge, Godda, in connection with Godda (Town) P.S.
