ORDER:
The Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, seeking the following relief:
“…to declare the action of the respondent in issuing the procedings No.Rc.A1/60/2017 dt.10.5.2019 in not rectifying the administrative mistake committed by the respondent in including the name of the applicant in the panel year 2014-15 to 2015-16 for the post of Sub inspectors PE and including the name of the unofficial respondent inspite of the seniority of the applicant and taking steps to affect promotion to the post of the Inspector of Prohibition and Excise calling information of the candidates in Rc.No.A1/214/2019 dt.10.5.2019 without communicating final provisional seniority list dt.28.12.2017 for the panel year 2014-15 to 2015-16 as Illegal arbitrary and violates the Article 14,16 and 21 of Constitution of India and consequently declare that the applicant is entitled for inclusion of his name for the panel year 2014-15 to 2015-16 as per the seniority over and above the unofficial respondent and entitled for further promotion based on the said date to the post of Inspector Prohibition and Excise with all consequential attendant benefits and to pass…”

The learned Assistant Government Pleader for Servies-I placed on record copy of the letter signed by the petitioner on 21.06.2019 (dated 21.06.2018) having reference No.1 i.e., representation of the petitioner dated 20.05.2019. 03. As per the said letter, the petitioner accepted to withdraw O.A.No.776 of 2019, now renumbered as W.P.(AT).No.826 of 2022 by accepting the roster point 66-SC to K.Babu and roster point 72-SC to himself. Whereas, the petitioner is disputing his seniority over A.Rama

Murthy/5th respondent herein. Thus, the petitioner is satisfied about his place in the roster cycle as per the said letter. 04. The learned Assistant Government Pleader for Servies-I submitted that a copy of the letter had been served on the learned counsel for the petitioner. 05.
Sri B.Rajasekar, learned counsel representing the counsel for the petitioner submitted that no order is required in the petition as instructed by the counsel on record. 06. In view of the above submissions, the writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. There shall be no order as to costs. Interim orders granted earlier, if any, shall stand vacated.
