Heard Sri J U M V Prasad, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri S.Raju, learned Assistant Government Pleader for Services-I for the respondents. 2. The petitioner’s father by the name C.V.Sundar Rao, worked as Daffedar in the office of 4th respondent and obtained voluntary retirement due to health reasons. The petitioner has other siblings. The Father of the petitioner died and thereafter, his brother C.V.Subba Rao, got employment of his deceased father on compassionate grounds. The brother of the petitioner C.V.Subba Rao, also died on 31.01.2017 leaving the petitioner and mother behind him. The petitioner made a representation dated 28.11.2017 (Ex.P.6)

to the 2nd respondent and another representation dated 30.01.2024 (Ex.P.9) to the 3rd respondent to employ on compassionate grounds. Since the representations are not considered, the above writ petition is filed. 3. At the hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner confined his arguments and urged the Court to direct the 3rd respondent to pass appropriate orders by considering the representations dated 28.11.2017 and 30.01.2024 (Exs.P.6 and P.9 respectively). 4. Learned Assistant Government Pleader for Services would submit that the petitioner crossed 46 years and hence, the petitioner is not eligible for appointment on compassionate grounds. Learned counsel would also submit that appropriate orders will be passed by the 3rd respondent, on the representations made by the petitioner. 5. Whether the petitioner is eligible for appointment on compassionate grounds or not, the 3rd respondent must pass orders as per the Rules. 6. Given the facts and circumstances of the case, without touching the merits of the matter, the Writ Petition is disposed of, at the admission stage, with the consent of learned counsel on either side directing the 3rd respondent to consider the representations dated 28.11.2017 and 30.01.2024 made by the petitioner and pass appropriate orders, strictly as per the Rules, as expeditiously as possible, preferably within ten (10) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
