The Standing Counsel has filed a compliance affidavit of the opposite party disclosing that an order dated 20.3.2025 has been passed by the Special Secretary, Department of Higher Education, Uttar Pradesh, Lucknow deciding and rejecting the application of the petitioner / applicant filed for compassionate appointment in place of the deceased. As the order passed by the Writ Court has been complied by the opposite party, no further orders are required to be passed in the present contempt application. The application is disposed of and consigned to records. Notice issued to the opposite party is discharged. The applicant has the remedy to challenge the order dated 20.3.2025 on merits before the appropriate forum.
