Heard learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing Counsel for the State. 2. The writ petition is filed with the following prayer: "(i) Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus directing the respondents to pay the amount of gratuity of the late husband of the petitioner, to the petitioner with interest." 3. It is submitted by learned counsel for petitioner that the claim of petitioner for gratuity of late husband of petitioner has not been made. Learned counsel for petitioner further submits that the claim of petitioner is covered by the judgment of this Court passed in Writ-A No.292 of 2025 (Prof. Syed Shafeeque Ahmad Ashrafi Vs. State of U.P. Thru. Prin. Secy. Deptt. of Higher Education and 3 others). 4. Learned Standing Counsel submits that claim of petitioner would be decided in a time bound manner. 5. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, it is hereby provided that petitioner shall file a fresh representation before respondent no.2-The Director of Higher Education, U.P. at Prayagraj within a period of 15 days from today along with a certified copy of this order. The same shall be considered and decided by respondent no. 2 within a period of two months thereafter. 6. It is clarified that this Court has not decided the issue on merits and the authorities concerned shall independently apply its mind and pass order in accordance with law. 7.
