The petitioner has been made accused in connection with S.T. case No.26 of 2025 arising out of Hirodih P.S. Case No. 123 of 2024, for the offences registered under Sections 103(1), 238 & 3(5) of the B.N.S., 2023, pending in the court of learned Additional Sessions Judge-V, Giridih. Petitioner happens to be the husband of the deceased Rinku Kumari. Due to dispute with the petitioner and her in-laws, the deceased started residing in her parental house. On 27.08.2024, the petitioner called his wife and told her that he will come and she will have to accompany him to their matrimonial home. On the same date, Rinku Kumari was murdered. Her neck was found severed. Mr. Mohit Prakash, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner was apprehended from Hydrabad. It was further submitted that only three witnesses have been examined in this case till July, 2025. Considering the nature of allegation, I am not inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail.
