Petitioner claims to be a registered contractor with the respondent Purvanchal Vidyut Vitran Nigam Limited, Varanasi. He has approached this Court with the grievance that though in terms of the work allotted to him he has performed various works but the admitted dues in respect of such work are not being released. A representation in that regard has been made on March 21, 2025, but since no decision upon it is taken, the petitioner is before this Court. 2. Sri Rakesh Kumar Mishra holding brief of Sri Narendra Kumar Tiwari for the respondent Corporation on the basis of instructions obtained submits that certain dues of petitioner are admitted and that an appropriate decision in respect of release of such dues would be taken shortly. 3. In view of the specific stand taken by the respondent before us today, we dispose of this petition with a direction upon the concerned authority i.e. respondent no.6 to take an appropriate decision in the matter relating to release of admitted dues of the petitioner and ensure that such admitted dues are released to him, within a period of three months, in accordance with law. 4. It is made clear that we have not adjudicated claim of the petitioner on merits and all factual issues are left open for examination by the competent authority.
