For the Informant : Mr. Pratiush Lala, Advocate --- 03/02.12.2025 Heard the parties. The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Mandu (W.B.) P.S. Case No. 83 of 2025, for the offences registered under Sections 103(1), 80(2), 61(2) of the B.N.S., 2023 and Sections 3 / 4 of the D.P. Act, pending in the court of learned A.C.J.M., Ramgarh. Petitioner happens to be the husband of the deceased namely Laxmi Nonia, who died due to asphyxia because of hanging in her matrimonial home. It was submitted that apart from ligature mark there was no mark of violence on the person of the deceased. It was further submitted that deceased has committed suicide as she suspected that petitioner was having relationship with his sister-in-law. Mr. Pratiush Lala, learned counsel for the informant has vehemently opposed the prayer for bail and submitted that from the CDR report of the petitioner, it appears that he was frequently talking to his sister-in-law and they had talked about 2400 times. Considering the nature of allegation, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned A.C.J.M., Ramgarh, in connection with Mandu (W.B.)
