The petitioner is apprehending his arrest in connection with Nirsa P.S. Case No. 228/2024, registered under Sections 406, 420, 465 of the Indian Penal Code, pending in the Court of the learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Dhanbad. 3. Learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that the allegations are made that the engine number and chassis number were not tallying provided in the number plate. He next submits that the FIR has been registered on 16.7.2024; however, the vehicle in question was transferred by the petitioner on 24.04.2024 by way of an agreement contained in Annexure-2. He also submits that however the transferee has not taken step for changing the name of the owner of vehicle in the office of DTO. He next submits that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent as disclosed in 14 of the petition. 4. Learned counsel appearing for the State opposed the prayer and submits that the petitioner found to be owner of the said vehicle. 5. Considering that the FIR has been lodged on 16.07.2024, 2025:JHHC:37662 2 however, in light of Annexure -2, on 24.04.2024, the vehicle was transferred to another person and the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent as disclosed in Para-14 of the petition, I am inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 6. Accordingly, the petitioner above named is directed to surrender before the learned Court within three weeks from the date of receipt of the order and on the event of his surrender / arrest, he shall be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs.25,000/- (Twenty-Five Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount of each to the satisfaction of learned Judicial Magistrate, 1st Class, Dhanbad, in connection with Nirsa P.S. Case No. 228/2024, subject to the condition as laid down under Section 482(2) of Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023. 7.
