Petitioner has been made accused in connection with Golmuri P.S. Case No. 140 of 2024, corresponding to S.T. Case No.208 of 2025 for the offences registered under sections 25(1-B) (a) and 26 of Arms Act, pending in the court of learned Additional Sessions Judge-V, Jamshedpur. Bail application of the petitioner was earlier rejected by this Court vide B.A. No.999 of 2025 by order dated 11.04.2025. On 23.10.2024 at 2.30 p.m., Golmuri Police raided the godown of the petitioner and recovered one country made pistol and two live cartridges from there. It was submitted that petitioner is in custody for more than a year. Report regarding the stage of trial earlier called for, has been received. It appears that out of 8 chargesheeted witnesses only 3 witnesses have been examined. Considering the period of custody, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Additional Sessions Judge-V, Jamshedpur, in connection with Golmuri P.S.
