The petitioner seeks a direction to the respondents to count his past service for the purpose of pension and other pensionary benefits. In support of this contention, reliance has been placed on Shishu Pal Vs. State of H.P. & Ors.2

Learned counsel for the petitioner states that the petitioner has preferred a representation on 18.08.2025 in this regard to the respondents/competent authority for the redressal of his above grievance, but the said representation has not been considered and decided till date. Learned counsel further states that the petitioner would be content, in case, respondents/competent authority are
directed to consider and decide the representation of the petitioner, in accordance with law, within a time bound manner. Learned counsel for the respondents has no objection to this prayer.
Having regard to the above submissions, but without examining the merits of the matters, the writ petition is disposed of by directing the respondents/competent authority to consider and decide the aforesaid representation of the petitioner, in accordance with law as well as taking into consideration the above judgment, within a period of six weeks from today. The order so passed be also communicated to the petitioner(s). Pending miscellaneous application(s), if any, shall also stand disposed of.
