THE HONIBLE JUSTICE Dr. V.R.K.KRUPA SAGAR CRIMINAL PETITION No.9778 of 2024 ORDER: This Criminal Petition under Sections 480 and 483 of BNSS is filed by the petitioner/Al seeking regular bail in Cr'lme No.183 of 2024 of Special Enforcement Bureau Station, Pendurthy, visakhapatnam District registered for the OffenCeS Punishable under sections 20(b)('l-I)(C) and 25 read with 8(c) of the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act, 1985 (for short lthe NDPS Act'). 2. Heard arguments Of Sr'I P.Raju Babu, the learned COunSel for petitioner and the learned Assistant Public Prosecutor for respondent-State. 3. Perused the record. 4. According to prosecution, On 18.07.2024 this petitioner/A.1 and other accused were arrested and 214 kgs. of Ganja was recovered. Earlier in Criminal Pet'ltion No.8384 of 2024 the prayer for regular bail of this petitioner was declined by this Court,,J3T;7. Jfy on 10.12.2024. After about a month thI'S renewal ba" applicatl-on has come up for consI'deration. 5. According to both sides, the investigation I'S completed. The petI'tiOner has been in J'udjCjal custody since 18.07.2024. The statutory period of 180 days of remand is nearI-ng its COmPletiOn. From the record, I-I appears that the actual quantl-ty of contraband that was seized from this petitioner is not mentioned and thus remaI-ned vague. 6.
ln the ll-ght of the above facts and circumstances, this court is of the considered opinion that any continued detention does not seem necessary. Hence, prayer I'S granted. 7. ln the result, this crjmI'nal Petl-tjon ]'s allowed jn the followI-ng terms.a
